POLYNUCLEOTIDES
Polynucleotides are naturally occurring DNA molecules derived from fish sperm. They act as a skin bio-stimulator, meaning they stimulate fibroblast cells to produce more collagen and elastin.

With over 40 years of scientific research, and with its low risk of adverse reactions, polynucleotides have become a key treatment for the ultimate skin regeneration. Treatment with polynucleotides are versatile and can be used on the face and under-eyes, as well as the neck, hands and stomach.

A course of 3 sessions is initially recommended to 'kick start the stimulating process, followed by maintenance treatment every 3-6 months.

TREATMENT INFORMATION

Treatment takes around 30 minutes to complete and local anaesthetic is used to reduce the pain (additional 20 mins).​

Treatment consists of multiple injection points on the area of concern.

A minimum of 3 sessions every 2-4 weeks are recommended for optimum results followed by a maintenance session every 3-6 months. Some skin concerns may benefit from 4 or more intense sessions 1-2 weeks apart.

Collagen and elastin production can last up to 12 months after treatment.

There is minimal downtime post procedure. Swelling will resolve within 24-48 hours but skin may appear bumpy which will settle within 24 - 72 hours. Some areas may take longer to heal (i.e. neck).
